Jared Kushner Leaves CEO Position To Join Trump’s ‘Talented Team’

The rumors can finally be put to rest! Ivanka Trump’s husband Jared Kushner will officially join Donald’s White House team as a senior advisor.

Democrats and anti-Trump groups have fought the idea of Kushner joining the Trump administration claiming his involvement in New York real-estate would be a conflict of interest. But, Kushner’s lawyer says the young CEO is officially clear of any connections to his company or assets that violet federal ethics laws. Moreover, Kushner is in the clear!

“Jared Kushner has done everything he’s required to do and more. He’s simply required to recuse himself from any decision that would have a ‘direct and predictable’ impact on his financial holdings,” Kushner’s lawyer said in response to the backlash from Democrats.

Given Donald’s endless connections in the business world, many of his new hires have had to go through the same process as Kushner. CEO’s of major business like Exxon Mobile and the WWE have been selected for key roles in the White House helping Mr. Trump to “drain the swamp” of crooked Washington vets. The nation elected a successful businessman and there’s no doubt that they’ll support his decision to bring his peers along with him.

After the announcement Donald Trump briefly commended his son-in-law for his efforts in 2016 saying, “Jared has been a tremendous asset and trusted adviser throughout the campaign and transition, and I am proud to have him in a key leadership role in my administration.”

For the most part, Kushner distanced himself from Donald until the end of the primaries where he suddenly was spotted calling the shots with Kellyanne Conway. He then took on a major role in the general election and has been rumored to be the main voice on Trump’s Transition Team.

Kushner is set to move to the D.C. neighborhood of Kalorama with wife Ivanka and their children. He’s welcomed the incredible title saying to the press, “It is an honor to serve our country…and join this very talented team.”
