Donald Trump isn’t shy when he disagrees with something–even if it’s considered “politically incorrect.”
So, when Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced that Andrew Jackson was being replaced by Harriet Tubman on the $20 bill, Donald made his voice heard.
“Andrew Jackson had a great history, and I think it’s very rough when you take someone off the bill,” says Trump.
Although Andrew Jackson was our nation’s seventh president, he’s fallen out of popularity in recent years due to his ownership of slaves and signage of the Indian Removal Act.
“I think it’s pure political correctness,” says Donald. “He’s been on the bill many, many years and really represented someone who was really important to this country.”
