‘Apprentice’ Contestant Lands Top Spot On Trump’s White House Staff

Two senior level Trump staffers told CNN that former star of “The Apprentice,” Omarosa Manigault is joining Donald Trump’s White House team.

The Trump Transition team has not revealed her official title, however, she is expected to focus on public engagement. Omarosa will serve as an assistant to the President and head the Office of Public Liaison.

She previously served as the campaign’s director of African-American outreach and since Donald’s victory has maintained a strong presence at his New York City headquarters. Recently, Omarosa was involved in working with various African American celebrities who wanted to meet Mr. Trump and help plan for the nation’s bright future. Some of her meetings included NFL athletes Ray Lewis and Jim Brown.

This will not be Omarosa’s first time in the White House. Back in the 1990’s she worked in Vice President Al Gore’s office during the Clinton administration.

Manigault has been a major advocate for Trump since before his political career. She was “fired” on Trump’s first season of his reality show but remained a close friend and supporter of Trump and his ideals. Omarosa has openly admitted that her allegiance to one party has swayed over the years. However, her professional experience with both Democrats and Republicans is exactly what Mr. Trump is looking for in a new hire. Although Donald prides himself on being a Republican, he proudly supports people who fight for America as a whole and look past bureaucracy. The President-Elect has created his own party and Omarosa has been a member since the very beginning!

Omarosa has made over 100 appearances on various TV shows that reached millions of Americas making her one of the most identifiable faces on Trump’s team. Her political experience and commercial popularity will further Donald’s goal to create a professional Washington team that American’s are familiar with and trust.
